While sitting at my computer I started looking at dock diving stats. I have to say Graysun has blown me away (!) even more when you see it on paper!! We've only been dock diving for 18 months without regular training (no pools closer than 2 hrs). He got invited to the NADD/AKC Eukanuba Champs last Dec. (2016) in the Master division at 11 months with only 2 competitions under his belt. We've now added 7 competitions for 2017 and he got invited again for Eukanuba in the Ma...ster Division in BOTH Big Air and Air Retrieve!! He is the #1 Golden to have earned a Master Air Retrieve title to date (FIRST and ONLY). He's #4 Golden (out of 108 goldens) in Big Air (and 1 of only 3 Goldens to have earned a Dock Master Advanced title). This is a brand new sport for me -- never would have imagined how the suggestion of "lets rent a DD pool just for fun" (March 2016 with a friend) would change our current path! As long has he continues to have a smile on his face up on the dock, we'll see where this road continues to take us and the rest is icing on the cake.
